Scoutmaster Moment 8/29/10
Back to School, Football (USA or European), Popcorn, and Boy Scouts, what a great combination. Fall 2010 brings another Program year to focus for Troop 601. Your Patrol Leader Council and Troop members worked hard this summer developing ideas for both Weekend trips and Troop Meetings. You will not be disappointed as there is something for everyone.
September brings a trip to Wildwood NJ and Morey’s Pier, along with Elections of Troop leadership positions. All Current leadership positions will be up for election or appointment, so begin to think about what position will help you and the troop move forward.
We look forward to welcoming back our scouts who have been away for some or most of the summer. Scout will renew the patrol method and get back to what scouts do! Learn skills, go camping and have fun.
Make sure you don’t miss all the chances to be involved this fall by, helping at service projects, help in fund raising opportunities, participate on weekend outings and attend troop meetings on a regular basis. Troop 601 gives you plenty of things to keep you busy. You might even have to skip the football watching to get your homework done.
